Summer is here, and with it comes more schedule flexibility for many massage therapists. This is a great time to take continuing education courses! At NC Massage School, we have both online and on-campus courses coming up this summer. Check out some of these favorites.
Traditional Thai Foot Massage with Jill Burynski
This one-day class is scheduled for June 2, and it will teach the basics of traditional Thai foot massage. If you’ve been looking to add a popular service to your service offerings, this just might be the course for your summer learning. Be prepared for hands-on instruction if you choose this course, which will earn you 7 CE hours.
Medi-Cupping Therapy by Anita Shannon
Are your clients asking about Medi-cupping? Learn what it’s all about, and earn 22 CEs, with this course. Scheduled for July 7 through July 9, this course will be led by Anita Shannon, an experienced Medi-cupping therapist. It will include hands-on activity as well as specific instruction in the therapy, how it works, and how to introduce it to your clients.
Indian Head, Face & Foot Massage with Ayurvedic Oils
Instructor Wolfgang Luckmann will help you understand how to incorporate Indian Head Massage into your practice, and will also introduce the benefits and use of ayurvedic oils. Wolfgang is an initiate into the American Massage Therapy Hall of Fame, so the NC Massage School team is thrilled to have him teach this class.
Pressed for Time? Consider Online Options
If you don’t have the time for an in-person class, NC Massage School has your needs covered. We offer several online courses that you can take at any time, including ethical principles, neuromuscular therapy, ethical treatment for abuse survivors, ethical boundaries and ethical practice management. These can be completed from the comfort of your own home, and provide a number of options for earning your CE credits without a schedule class time.
