Easy Deep Tissue

Summary
When we have finished you will have tangible knowledge of how to safely and constructively use your body as a tool to deliver deep tissue massage; you will have practiced palpation skills with your fists, forearms, and elbows and have more confidence in using these tools regularly in your work setting; and you will be able to deliver more pressure with less effort.
Integrative Reflexology

ETHICS – Boundaries and Healthy Relationships

Summary
Some people find it stressful to discuss boundary topics, yet, life is more fulfilling and satisfying if we live with virtue and integrity in all our relationships and business dealings. Much confusion exists amongst practitioners about what is and what is not ethical behavior. This disorder can be even more complex for somatic practitioners. By increasing your understanding of your client’s boundaries, you can improve the therapeutic relationship and avoid many inadvertent slips into unethical behavior.
Traditional Thai Foot Massage

Summary
You will leave this one-day class with a new service to add to your menu and 15 & 30-minute add-ons. Thai Foot massage is a simple yet powerful way of applying reflexology.
You do not need to be an expert in reflexology to perform this modality. Best of all, you won’t wear out your thumbs because there is no thumb walking!
Please bring a set of massage sheets, a hand towel, and massage lotion.

Practical Magic – Making Aromatherapy Therapeutic Products

Summary
This class will introduce using essential oils in massage therapy. It will cover the properties and therapeutic values of various oils and how therapists can create their own oils, lotions, creams, and scrubs. This class will also discuss how to add aromatherapy to individual massage practice.
Students will be able to create actual products based on essential oils and will be given a “cookbook” to use at home.
Please be aware that this class is a contraindication for pregnant women.
