Experience Affordable, High-Quality Massage Therapy at Our Student Clinicals
At NC Massage School, we provide the public with a unique opportunity to receive professional-quality massage therapy at a reduced cost through our Supervised Student Clinical Internships, commonly known as “Clinicals.” These sessions are an essential part of our 700-hour diploma program, allowing students to refine their techniques in a structured, hands-on learning environment under the guidance of licensed instructors.
When Are Student Clinicals Offered?
Our Clinicals are conducted at specific times throughout the year, typically following the classroom portion of our program. We do not offer massage services to the public outside of these designated sessions. Availability varies depending on our student schedules, but Clinicals are generally held during two separate internship periods per year.

Why Do We Conduct Student Clinicals?
Supervised Clinical Internships are a critical component of our training program. They provide students with real-world experience in client communication, treatment planning, and professional massage therapy techniques while ensuring a safe and structured learning environment. For the public, this is an excellent opportunity to receive a massage at a reduced rate while contributing to the education of future therapists.
What to Expect During a Clinical Session
- Each session follows a structured intake, treatment, and feedback process.
- Students work under the direct supervision of licensed massage therapy instructors.
- Clinical sessions are by appointment only and availability is limited.
- Our school operates as an educational facility, meaning we do not offer public massage services outside of these internship periods.
- No tipping is allowed by NC State Law.
